An analysis “determined that the weapon belonged to a retired Suffolk County badge administrator who was alive at the architecture as allotment of the district’s aegis team,” the letter said.

The agent was “relieved of his duties, able immediately,” the letter said, and the commune is reviewing its “safety and aegis protocols,” Rozzi said.

A academy commune backer said Wednesday that, according to Board of Education policy, no advisers are permitted “to backpack a weapon on academy area or in any facility.”
